Hiatus

Pathetic, I know. The past week I haven’t been doing WW or working out. Next week should be better because I will finish a thesis draft by the 5th and then rewrite until the 12th. I feel pathetic but dieting took up so much mental space and I was thinking so much about it that I couldn’t cope well with everything else going on. 

Next week:

Submit Draft- Wednesday

Get back to the Gym/Diet- Thursday

Fiance is leaving town on Thursday so I will be alone with my thesis and diet for a week and then I head to RI for my dress fitting and wedding related errands.

I am really craving pretzel sticks with cheese today. Craving like I am going to run to the store and get some instead of sitting at my desk. Is that the worst or what?? I feel like the worst dieter ever giving in to my stress eating temptations with little hesitation. 

Ok, see you later, off to Whole Foods.

Big Plans for Today!

I had a pretty indulgent breakfast out today:

  • 2 Eggs
  • Turkey Sausage
  • Breakfast Potatoes

Fiance is making dinner tonight- Fish! He hasn’t decided on a recipe yet but I am excited. 

So that leaves me having a very healthy and light lunch, I have some Zero Point Soup which must be finished already. 

I am not going to the gym this week because of terrible deadlines killing me, I can’t let it all go because I will always find ways to justify not working out. 

Also- allergies today? Hell!!

darling fiance is making me meat sauce and spaghetti! 

what a lovely treat.

dry cornflakes made it down the ole hatch today. 

i needed things to nibble on while i was stressing out and not getting anything done. 

i wish i’d made:

EDAMAME

i am not sure why i completely forgot. all i could see were comfort foods. today for dinner i really want spaghetti with meat sauce (it keeps changing).

2 granola bars

i haven’t had my spaghetti yet but i am going to. i am also going to add some of the turkey sausage we have in the fridge and spinach so that it’s a bit more healthy, but i am not going to enjoy the healthy, only the paaasta aspect of it all.

  • pizza GF quesadilla (no idea how many many points)
  • 2 broccoli pancakes (i hope GF, said it was manufactured in facilities which weren’t pure) 2 pts
  • i now want a BIG bowl of spaghetti. i said it. not healthy fancy spaghetti. just from the jar sauce and cheese and a tub of it. 

it’s a shame that i am giving up today since i have WW Zero Point soup i should eat or some Hearty Turkey Chili, or even chicken gf noodle soup. nope. none of that i want. i want a tub of spaghetti and i want to rest it on my chest as i eat it on the couch, minimizing the spoon to mouth distance.

7 Grain Morning Cereal (2 pts)

1 Whole Banana (2 pts)

Fiance is taking a 24 hour take home exam upstairs and I am working on the thesis downstairs. I am sitting 6 ft. from the kitchen… I keep thinking of snacks I could be eating. Perhaps, I need to move to a less taunting location.

I don’t want to do weigh in today. Not even a little at all. My stomach is still a mess from yesterday’s galavanting and I haven’t worked out since Friday. I need to change my weigh in day, Monday is a stupid day to do it. 
Ugh. Wish me luck!!
